  Absolutely hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I was in Chicago for only 16 hours and I made my way from downtown to Downers Grove just to visit Angelo's. The owners are great people and are always working in the restaurant from making the sauce or meatballs (perfection) to walking the dining room checking if you need anything or wiping down tables. The first time I had their pizza they were in a much smaller space next to where they are now and the food was amazing.
  I had my usual pizza, half pizza sauce and BBQ, Italian beef, onions, fresh garlic, tomatoes, extra cheese, and anchovies well done. My son had his usual pizza, Italian beef, hot giardiniera, onions, fresh garlic, and extra cheese.
  They tasted just as amazing as they did the first time 6 years ago. I will always go to Angelo's every time I am in Chicago. Best Pizza Ever, fantastic meatballs, homemade sauce, and great people.

  They don't serve pizza by the slice.
  
  When I did have an opportunity to order here and share a pie with someone (I'm often by myself, so why would I bother patronizing a place which wants to sell me a whole pie?) it was cut into squares. To my knowledge, nowhere except in this area does a pizzeria cut a round pie into squares. In my humble opinion, that's ridiculous.
  
  As for the pizza itself, it was okay. Nothing to write home about.
